The most pleasantly surprised I’ve ever been by a car was a 4x4 Mazda MPV crossover/SUV/van thing that I drove during the search for a first car. I think one of these would make a great car for me in college. Well, lo and behold, no sooner am I preparing to head off to university than this appears for sale. Identical to the one that stole my hear, only this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Sign me up! It may be a bit of a CP, but not awful.

you liked it? I did not like my brief stint driving it. It felt like someone made a car then unbolted the body and then bolted a giant box onto the remains and bodged the controls to work with the new “sitting on a bar stool” seating position.

The seating and control positions were among my favorite points, actually. Probably not very relaxing on a long journey, but I felt in control.

Here’s my reasoning.

1. You can get a comparable SUV for less than that (EG: Exploder)

2. It’s a minivan

3. Keep the A8 because it’s much cooler

Hmm, this would be a great minivan for my wife and kids. I will have to keep these in mind when I decide to replace her Mazda 5.

I’m not gonna lie, I wanted one of these back in the 90s, I wanted to lift it and put All terrain tires on it. But they mostly all rusted away over here. Rust stopped me from doing something stupid. For once rust saved me.

1. There are Explorers everywhere. In my mind this is every bit as good but also unique and cool looking.

2. In name only. No sliding doors, and it rides as high as an SUV.

3. I would keep it, but my brother would drive it while I’m at college. Frankly I think the A8 would not make a very good college car, plus I’d hate to see anything happen to it. An old Mazda van thing I don’t care
